What is one of the biggest struggles you face as an entrepreneur?

Now before your mind starts spiraling around on issues like clarity, direction, funds, time, and more, I want you to stop and think about something for a second; if you don’t have the motivation to get off your ass and actually do the work, does any of the above really matter?

Once you’ve taken the leap of faith and started your entrepreneurial journey… creating big bold goals…chasing dreams…it’s easy to forget why you began in the first place, and you find yourself in a need of big dose of inspiration.

Rightfully so!

Being motivated is crucial to success! It’s what keeps you moving forward.

Now inspiration isn’t in short supply. Look around and you can get inspired from the small food business your friend’s mom began or your college roommate who dropped out and found success online.

And if you want to take it up a notch, you’ll be surprised to know some of your favorite celebrities may also be killing it in the business sphere apart from acting, music or general entertainment.

Not all celebs cash in on royalties from brands they work with. For some, it is more about doing something that they’re passionate about and making a positive impact in the world.

Here are 5 celebrities who’re also powerhouse entrepreneurs:

1. Beyoncé:

Of course, I have to start off this list with my biggest inspiration of all time; QUEEN BEYONCÉ. I mean if you haven’t heard of her, which century are you living in?

Jokes apart, you know who runs the world? Beyoncé all the way!

If her 20 Grammys weren’t enough, she created a clothing line with her mother called House of Deréon. The tag line, Couture. Kick. Soul. represents three generations of Knowles women whose personalities and styles are reflected in the clothing line.

Apart from being listed on the Forbes Highest Paid Female Musician list, she is creating precedence for minorities to claim success in photography, fashion and acting as well.

2. Oprah:

This media mogul is one of America’s most successful self-made women who didn’t let race, poverty or abuse come in the way of her success, fame and Forbes’ list of America’s Self-Made Women.

Her talk show is a global hit and apart from being the most influential host, she is an amazing philanthropist as well.

Oprah’s authenticity is one of the driving forces that led her to create many different business ventures including the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) TV network in 2011 that reaches 70.3% of all-American households with television.

3. Jay-Z:

You can’t think of Beyoncé without mentioning her husband Jay-Z, unarguably one of the most popular and successful rappers of all times. His fame and fortune aren’t limited to churning out mind-boggling rhymes and verses, in fact, he is an amazing visionary in business as well.

With his own record label, a clothing line, a restaurant and his own streaming service Tidal, his net worth is well over $800 million as estimated by Forbes.

4. Jessica Alba

The Golden Gold nominated Hollywood actress isn’t famous for only captivating the audience with her acting skills. After starting a new chapter of her life as a mother, she found herself in a dilemma when there weren’t many natural and safe cleaning products.

This issue led her to find Honest.com – an e-commerce marketplace selling safe products for babies worth $1 billion now.

5. Victoria Beckham

It is no wonder now that the famous British girl band’s (Spice Girls) most stylish member aka Victoria Beckham would go on and make a name in the fashion industry for herself. Her designs have been featured in the New York fashion week and sought the praise of the fashion world. With a workforce of 100 people, she became UK’s top entrepreneur in 2014.
